Obituary of June Jorea Nibling Weeks

June J. Nibling Weeks, 83, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away September 23, 2017. Services will be held at the Purley Baptist Church, on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour priot to the service. Mrs. Weeks will be buried in Oxford, Mississippi.

Mrs. Weeks was a greaduate of East Texas State University where she earned both B.S. and M.Ed. degrees in elementary education, along with certifictions as a Reading Specialist and Supervision. She taught for 30 years in Greenville ISD as an elementary teacher. As a faithful member of the Purley Baptist Church, she was active in children's activities including the Children's Service on Sundays and Vacation Bible School. After retirement, she was also very active in local community, including volunteering at the local food banks. Among her passions were reading, cooking, traveling (all 50 states), and genealogy. June was very giving and loved her family and friends. She will be missed greatly by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Eugene Weeks, mother, father, and two brothers.

Survivors include five siblings, step-mother, three nieces, as well as numerous cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Purley Baptist Church, The Gideons International or the Community Food Bank of Franklin County.
