Obituary of Thomas John Jones, Jr.

Graveside services for Mr. Thomas John Jones, Jr., age 54, of Fort Worth, TX will be on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Vernon City Cemetery. As posted from Moore Funeral Home - Bowen Road Website Mr. Jones passed July 8, 2015 in Arlington. He was born April 12, 1961 in Fort Worth. Service: Visitation will be Friday, 7-9pm and Funeral Service Saturday at 10am at Moore Bowen Funeral Home, with burial in Mt. Vernon, Texas on Monday. Mr. Jones loved country music, fishing during his lunch breaks from the Grand Prairie Office Depot, his canine companions, especially China. He was a dedicated family man and adored his wonderful grandbabies. He is preceded by his father T.J.; maternal grandmother Maudie Martin and his paternal grandparents. Survivors: Loving wife Cheryl Jones, (nee Taylor); son Thomas John Jones, III; daughters: Tammy Shelton, Jennifer Headlee, and Leah Phenix; Grandchildren: Reece, Eris, Emelia, and Heaven; mother Opal Jones; siblings: Waylan Gillihan (Clarke), Candy Rommell (Jamie), and Joy Barnard; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and great-nieces.
