Obituary of Dorothy Nelson Howard

Dorothy Nelson Howard (1920-2017)

Dorothy passed away peacefully July 23, surrounded by her loving family.  Born in East Texas, July 1, 1920, to parents Willie and Jewel Nelson.  She married John Howard in 1941.

Survivors include daughters Cheryl Toman and Ann (Monty) Smith, granddaughters Kristin (Taylor) Love, Laura (James) Devinney, Lynn (Mike) Taylor and four great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by parents, husband and son-in-law, Tom Toman.

Services Wednesday, July 26, 10:00 am, Preston Road Church of Christ, her longtime church.  Interment in Mt. Vernon, Texas.
