Beverly Easterling

Obituary of Beverly Ann Easterling

Beverly Ann Easterling, age 82, of Talco, passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at her home, in the loving care of her beloved husband.  Beverly was born on November 27, 1935 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to the late Howard Frances and Winifred Marion O’Connor Ryan.  Following the divorce of her parents, Beverly was raised by her grandmother, Martha Fahey Ryan.  Through many struggles and disease epidemics, Beverly moved around between various relatives and in different places until she eventually ended up moving to Dallas at the age of 16.  Following high school, Beverly married her first husband.  Their brief marriage brought into the world three booming baby boys.

Beverly met and married the love her life and her best friend, Charles “Donald” Easterling, in Plano, Texas in 1962.  In 1964 Don officially adopted Beverly’s three boys.  In 1969, Don moved his growing family out to the country.  Through the ups and downs of country living, Beverly became a country girl and grew to love her new home.  After 55 years of marriage, and a lifetime of memories, Don survives.

Beverly joined Mount Olive Baptist Church in 1988, where she was still an avid member.  If anyone looked back at Beverly’s life you could definitely say it was unique and common.  With many ups and downs, good times and bad, she would tell you that “with God all things are possible.”  Those who knew Beverly best will remember her as a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who lived her life as an example of dedication, faith and perseverance.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Don Easterling, of Talco; sons, Steven L Easterling, and wife Cynthia, of Hagansport, Douglas Wayne Easterling, of Hagansport, and Michael James Chamberlain, and wife Carol, of Bridge City, Texas; grandchildren, Brandi Michelle White, Joshua Don Easterling, and wife Courtney Paul, Samantha Ann James, and husband Matthew, Danielle Nichole Manetta, and husband Wesley Reid, Danica Jade Malone, and husband Wesley Joe, and Katie Chamberlain; by 13 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and very special friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Sam B. Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jimmy Rogers, Brother Randy Sinclair, and Danielle Manetta officiating.  Burial will follow at Hagansport Cemetery with Rusty Barker, Russell Franklin Conner, Joshua Don Easterling, Matthew Stuart James, Wesley Joe Malone, and Wesley Reid Manetta serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., Wednesday evening, at the funeral home.
