Obituary of Richard Dee Keener

Richard Dee Keener, 89, of Mount Vernon, TX passed away on January 21, 2018.  He was born on October 18, 1928 in Longview, TX to the late Earlie and Dovie Keener.  He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Mount Vernon.

He is preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Ruth Keener; two daughters, Kathy Archer and husband Terry of Cumming, GA, Deborah Price of Mount Vernon; three grandchildren, Richard Archer, David Archer and Aaron Archer all of Cumming, GA; brother Ennis Dean Keener and wife Elaine of Scroggins, TX, very special nephew J.D. Crow and wife Nelda of Cookville, TX; dear friends, Butch and Lou Tiller.

Visitation is scheduled from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home, Mount Vernon.  Funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the funeral home with Bro. Jim Barksdale and Mike Morgan officiating.
