Obituary of Larry Randall Cole
Larry Randall Cole, 68, of Mount Vernon, TX passed away on February 14, 2018 in Dallas, TX. He was born on August 15, 1949 in Mount Vernon to the late Jerome and Clarice Cole. Mr. Cole honorably served in the US Army. He worked for 30 years as a Postmaster for the US postal Service in Sulphur Springs, TX. He was a member of the Optimist Club and the Rotary Club. He enjoyed doing family genealogy and was an avid stamp collector.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jerome Franklin Cole; mother, Clarice Pauline Williams Cole Campbell; son, Jerome Allen Cole.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Elaine Cole; sons, Gerald Piper of Osh Kosh, WI, Larry Jerome Cole and wife Elana of The Colony, TX, Randall Wade Cole of OK; daughters, Candi Belz and husband Kevin of Sulphur Springs, TX, Michelle Denise Hazard of Lexington, TN, Stephanie Krewson of Cape Geraldo, MO, Brandy Diane Cole of Dallas, TX, Teresa Rath and husband Dave of Montana; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Carolyn Cole and Donna Faye Cole both of Garland, TX.
Family visitation is scheduled from 11 – 12 pm, Monday, February 19, 2018 at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home, Mount Vernon. Memorial service will follow visitation at 12 noon at the Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Blankenship officiating.
