Obituary of Forrest Byram Reynolds, Jr.

Forrest Byram Reynolds, Jr., age 83, of Mount Vernon, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Monday, February 19, 2018, at his residence. He was born on April 25, 1934, to the late Forrest Reynolds, Sr. and Ada Everett Reynolds in Searcy, Arkansas.

Forrest was a lover and defender of his country to the end and gave 20 years of service in the United States Air Force. He was a loyal, honest friend to all who knew him. He was a faithful attendant to Calvary Baptist Church of Mount Vernon.

Forrest was preceded in death by his parents Forrest Reynolds, Sr. and Ada Reynolds; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Anne Reynolds; his children, Kathy Jackson and husband Glenn, Trena Todd, Debbie Coffey, all of Ft. Worth, son Tim Bullard and wife Lynn of Mount Vernon; grandchildren, Renee Rogers, Jonathan Jackson, Eric Jackson and wife, Kristen, Desiree Coffey, Adam Coffey, Jeremy Bullard, Christina March, Tiffany Radney and husband Danny, John Bailey and wife Natalie; great grandchildren, Colt Malone, Jr., Rhylie Jackson, Sawyer Jackson, Riley Coffey, Wyatt Jones, Whitli Faith Bullard, Everli Grace Bullard, Kaylee Hopkins, Lane Rogers, Jessalyn Jackson, Dylan Bailey, Blake Bailey, Brayden Bailey; his sister, Ina Immel of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and brother Noel Reynolds and wife Marilyn of McCrory, Arkansas;  and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Forrest Reynolds will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Troy Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will follow at the Mount Vernon City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday evening, February 21, at the funeral home.
