Obituary of Mary Estelle Lovelace Bolin

Celebration of Life for Mary Estelle Lovelace Bolin age 96, of Mt. Vernon will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 18, 2017 at the Sam B. Harvey Chapel with Rev. Pepper Puryear and Jimmy Worley  officiating.  Burial will follow at the Providence Cemetery with Zack Loftis, Luke Tebbetts, Brent Blair, Brad Blair, Bryan Blair, Colton James, Garrett James and Jordan McCuistion serving as pallbearers. 

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bolin passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the Whispering Pine Nursing Home in Winnsboro. She was born in Mt. Vernon, Franklin County on September 4, 1921. She was the daughter of Watson Dee Homer Lovelace and Carrie Ann Dickens.  She married Velvin Bolin on March 6, 1939 in Mt. Vernon and he preceded her in death on June 5, 2009.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church Mt. Vernon. A sales clerk with Hancock Fabric in Dallas and worked with Union Banker Insurance agency.  Member of the American Legion Auxiliary, VFW, American EX POW’s and Disabled Veteran’s.   

She is survived by her two sons Dwayne Bolin and Kay of Mt. Vernon, Jess Kent Bolin and Pam of Mt. Vernon; daughter Mary Jo Berryman and Buddy of Gladewater; grandchildren Cindy Bolin, Kim Blair, Keri James, Kathy Shelton, Lisa Draper, Greggory Huff, and Kyna Grogan.  Fourteen Great-grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and twelve brothers and sister.
