Obituary of Barbara Lois Werden Lozinski

Visitation for Barbara Lois Werden Lozinski, age 84, of Mt. Vernon, will be held from 11:00 to 11:30 AM on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home.Funeral procession will follow to the Providence Cemetery for graveside services with Chaplin Shiles Hubbell officiating.   Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Robert Robertson, Jason Coker, and Steven Coker, and Jamisson Griffith, who was a special friend and also her hospice nurse.   Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Johnston and Loyd Smith.

Mrs. Lozinski passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her four daughters.  Barbara was born on June 15, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan.  She was a homemaker most of her life.  She loved to cook and bake, and she loved caring and doing for others.  Her favorite thing to do was dance.  Barbara leaves behind her four daughters, Linda Ginger, Kimberly Johnson, and Debbie Baldwin of Mount Vernon, TX, and Darlene Zimmerman of Corpus Christi, TX.  She is survived by her grandchildren:  Georgette Baldwin Vance, Robert Robertson, and  Steven Coker of Mount Vernon, TX,  Jason Coker of Paris, TX, Shanna Place of Mount Pleasant, TX, Cindy Mercer of New Foundland, Debbie Craig and Tamara Hodinott, of Oshawa Ontario, Canada, and Kyle Widdifield of Grand Prairie Alberta, Canada.  Barbara also has 15 great-grandchildren:  Cassie Mercer, Mitchell Mercer, Matthew Mercer, Shelby Wade, Drew Wade, Connor Wade, Briania Longhenry, Brandon Longhenry, Tanis Widdifield, Phoenix Widdifield, Robert Robertson, Jr., Brooklyn Robertson, Jordan Robertson, Ryan Coker, and Kleper Coker.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

Barbara is survived by a sister, Pam Connell, of Corpus Christi, TX, and a niece, Jennifer Uhl of Corpus Christi, TX.    

Barbara was proceeded in death by her husband, Joseph Frank Lozinski, her parents, Irvin and Lottie Werden, a brother, James Werden, a sister, Charlotte Robishard, a grandson, Jimmy Johnston, and a great-grandson, Caleb Matthews.
