Obituary of Laura Ann McClenan

Laura Ann McClenan, age 86, of Mount Vernon, passed away in the early morning hours of Monday, December 3, 2018, in Sulphur Springs, Texas.  She was born on July 25, 1932, in Olton, Texas to the late Archie Hall and Bertha Jones Hall. She was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Carl McClenan and her son, Jerry Lee McClenan.

She is survived by her sons, Jackie McClenan and wife Debbie, David McClenan and wife Pat, and Ricky McClenan and wife Peggy; daughters, Beverly House and husband Les, Carla Nolen and husband Jamie, and daughter-in-law, Belinda McClenan; sister, Juanita Kennedy and husband Billy; and niece Sharon Porter and husband Ted; 31 grandchildren; and 58 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service for Mrs. McClenan will be Thursday, December 6, 2018, at 1 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Temple in Mount Vernon with Bro. Troy Hollingsworth and Les House officiating.
