Obituary of Joy Drummond
Joy Drummond, age 84, of Winnsboro, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at Whispering Pines Nursing Home.
Joy was born February 8, 1935, in Quinlan, to Derwood and Clifford Edna Stephens Overby. Joy was married to the love of her life, J. Larkin Drummond, for 56 years. She was a school teacher and taught in the public school system for many years. Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband and her sister, Ginger Erwin.
There will be no formal visitation.

Graveside services are set for 3:00p.m. Friday, February 15, 2019, at Macon Cemetery with Bro. Edgar Clements officiating. Burial is under the direction of Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home.
Survivors include her 2 daughters, Maier Porter and husband, Randy of Winnsboro and Ginger Davis and husband, Brody of Cleveland, South Carolina; her son, Kim Drummond and wife, Rebecca of Canton; 5 grandchildren, Amanda Bell of Canton, Allison Drummond of Canton, April Hudgins of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, Erin Davis of Cleveland, South Carolina and Garrett Porter of Winnsboro; 2 great grandchildren, Reese and Rebecca Bell and her brother-in-law, Joe Erwin of Longview.
