Obituary of Beth Ann Hess

Beth Ann Hess, age 42, of Mt. Vernon, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019, at Titus Regional Medical Center.

Beth was born December 6, 1976 in Mt. Pleasant.  She enjoyed playing bingo, crossword puzzles and coloring.  Beth loved her dog Lassie very much.  She was a holiday person; Beth would decorate for each and every holiday and count down the days.  Most of all Beth loved her family, especially the babies, and cherished every moment with them. 

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 19, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sam Harvey Funeral Home.

Survivors include her father, David Epperson and wife Kim of Mt. Vernon; her mother Wanda Whatley of Cason; her sisters, her twin sister, Betty Schmidt and husband, Kent of Mt. Vernon, Heather Stephens of Mt. Vernon and Rachel Corona and husband, Steven of Seminole; her brother, Dustin Stephens and wife, Melissa of Sterling City; her niece, Lacye Carter; her nephews, Kenneth Schmidt, Zackery Carter and Kannon Carter and her great niece Elizabeth “Monster” Schmidt.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hess family during the visitation or via Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home.
