Glenda was a great woman that took care of my mother who was Katie Smith. She was the only woman that my mother every wanted to bath her or help her get dressed. She was wonderful with my mother and my family loved her very much and I'm so sorry for your loss because it is my family loss too. I live to far away to come to her funeral but I want you to know how much your mother meant to me and my family

My thoughts, love, and prayers are with my dear cousins and your families. As you know, I lost my mother when I was 11 years old. A verse that has meant so much to me is Isaiah 66:13. Of course, God is our Heavenly Father. It is not often, though, that we think of Him as a mother figure, but this verse promises that God will comfort us as a mother comforts her children. The loss of a mother is a huge loss that you will carry with you the rest of your life, but God will step in and more than fill the void and meet your every need. I know because He has done it for me! Love, James
